I know it's been forever since I've updated the ole blog. If someone could help me add a couple hours to the day, that would be great!

Lexi and Lyla are doing great. They are talking so much more and although they still say things in their "language", they are speaking English a lot more these days! Lexi even counts to 10, skipping 8 everytime, but close enough.

The girls have been in toddler beds for about 2 months now. Well, I guess I should really say, they are in *a* toddler bed. Ever since we have converted their cribs to toddler beds, they have slept together. They used to sleep with their heads on opposite ends of the bed, but now I find them cuddled up together "spooning"! It is ridiculously cute.

The weather has been so nice here lately, and the girls have really been enjoying getting out more. They climb all over their swing set and run all around like big girls. It's crazy how much older they seem since this past summer!

Brooke Learns How to Multi-Task…

Today we had a playdate with one of my oldest and bestest (I know it’s not really a word) friends, Brooke, and her baby girl, Celia. Celia is 5 months old and so beautiful! I was really nervous about how Lexi and Lyla would act around such a little baby because they haven’t really been around many. But, they did great! They would tickle her toes and give her kisses and pet her head gently. They shared sunglasses and dolls and didn’t care at all when I would hold her. Lexi got a little whiny and grabbed her paci and lovie, but she recovered well. I’m so proud of my big girls (but not proud enough to add another one to our mix). I love these pictures as Brooke learns how to share her lap with multiple little girls!

They Love Each Other

Lexi and Lyla have really started to show affection towards each other. They give each other kisses and I find them holding hands every once in a while. It melts my heart to see them loving on each other. For the longest time I seriously thought these girls would never like each other! The other day, Lyla kept going into the playroom, laying down on the ground, and she would just fake cry until I came in there. Finally, I figured out she was doing that to get Lexi’s attention. Once Lexi came in and started playing with her, she was fine!

Have you moms seen those markers that are clear and don’t make any color unless they are used on the special paper? Lexi and Lyla got those for Chanukah and love them! I like that I can let them color somewhere besides strapped into a highchair. I highly recommend these to parents of toddlers, especially toddlers on the go. I’m pretty sure Lexi and Lyla approve too!

Two Year Stats

We took Lexi and Lyla to the doctor for their 2 year appointment a week after their birthday. They ran around the waiting room and annoyed all the parents of newborns. Josh and I couldn’t help but laugh as we had been in their shoes 2 years ago! They did as well as can be expected of 2 two year olds stuffed in a tiny doctor’s office. Neither of them cried when they got their fingers pricked. They also got flu shots and Lyla didn’t cry at that either, but Lexi let out an “Owwww!” and a few tears. Tough little girls! Here are their stats:

Lexi:

Weight: 26 pounds 4 ounces (60% percentile)

Height: 33.5 inches (40% percentile)

Lyla:

Weight: 25 pounds 12 ounces (50% percentile)

Height: 34 inches (50% percentile)

We don’t go back for a whole year which is absolutely crazy to me! We discussed the girls speech and Dr. Mitchell thinks that since there is a lot that they say and because of how much they understand, that they are fine. She said they might be “slow talkers”, but she has no concern that they need any help. She is always amazed by how healthy they are and we are so thankful for that!

Lexi and Lyla Turn(ed) TWO!!!

I’m so embarrassed by how behind I am in blogging. I mean seriously, what kind of mother doesn’t blog about her darling daughters’ second birthday? Lexi and Lyla turned 2 on December 3rd, 2010. We started the day as we normally do with breakfast and some coloring. The girls decided that they wanted to draw each other birthday cards, and I thought that was a brilliant idea!

After a beautiful exchange of birthday cards, the girls played for a while in their room. I let them pull all their clothes out of their drawers and make a huge mess, something that we rarely do! Then Daddy decided that since it was a nice day outside, that we should all go to the park:

We were pretty hungry after a lot of fun playing so we got a Happy Meal on the way home (apparently a birthday tradition). The little piggies were pretty tired after that so they got a good nap before Bubbie and Zayde and Grandma, Pa, and Honey came over. We decided to skip a big birthday party this year since the girls have been having some minor freak out sessions around people that aren’t Mama and Daddy. So we just had a small family gathering which was still tons of fun! It was also Chanukah so the girls got to light the Menorah with Bubbie and Zayde and open even more presents! Grandma and Pa got the girls some beautiful birthday cakes also!

Lexi and Lyla got a bunch of great gifts and I think they really enjoyed their day. I still can’t believe that they are 2 years old! It’s crazy, but somehow, after 2 years, our love for them grows and grows everyday.

Today I am thankful above all, for family. Family that sticks with you when you’re at your worst and also when you’re at your best. Family that defines unconditional love. Family that loves you for all your flaws. Family that brings out the best in you. Family that you bring out the best in. I am thankful that this is my family.

I am thankful for the ability to put together an amazing feast to share with my family. I am thankful that I have an amazing kitchen to prepare this feast in. I am thankful that my family occupies the girls with gifts so that I can put together any finishing touches. I am thankful that I don’t have to prepare the whole meal myself. I am thankful for the most amazing fried turkey ever. I am thankful for olives. I am thankful for a double oven.

And obviously, I am thankful for the two most beautiful blessings in my life: Lexi and Lyla. My life is complete with these little darlings and their fabulous Daddy. How can I be thankful for anything else when I get to be loved by my 3 favorite people?

I’m thankful that on a day where NOTHING would make Lexi and Lyla happy, Josh and I finally found something that they enjoyed:

I’m thankful that my little baldies are getting some hair! I don’t forsee hairbows any time in our near future, but at least it’s growing! I have to say, it’s been nice not having to dry their hair after baths though. Oh, and being bald also helps them stay looking like babies longer. But, I’m still thankful that their hair is growing!

Today I am thankful for sleep. That’s it. Sleep. I gave 34 flu shots, 11 B-12 shots, and 1 pneumonia shot, along with all of the other prescriptions that needed to be filled today. So today, or should I say tonight, I am thankful for sleep. And that the Vols beat Vandy. Good night!!!

I am so thankful for my job. Yes, it’s tiring and stressful and tough most days, but I work with great people, have amazing patients, and the best boss ever. We figure out ways to incorporate some fun in every work day. I love that I have an impact in my patient’s lives and I love that they have an impact in my life. I’m so grateful that my job affords us the ability to keep Lexi and Lyla out of daycare.

If you have a good pharmacist, let them know you are thankful for them. We do a lot more than count pills, and we are thankful for you!

So I’m sure you all have been enjoying my daily Thanksgiving posts, but it’s time for something a little different. Shutterfly has an amazing deal going on right now for bloggers where you can get 50 holiday cards for FREE! You can find out more about it HERE. To be honest, I have never used Shutterfly’s site myself. I do have a couple friends that use the site for hosting their pictures and it is oh-so convenient. But for this busy mama, I can always use an incentive (like free things) to get me interested. I have put off doing holiday cards the past couple of years, but I’m really excited about these designs! This probably should wait until a Sunday, but I’m thankful for Sundays. I used to hate Sundays because there was so much impending stress with the next day being Monday. Lately, I’m finding that I love Sundays. Even when I work, it’s just 6 hours and I still get to spend the morning with Lexi and Lyla and then the night when I get home from work. Sundays also include lounging in our jammies reading the paper:

Lately, Sundays have also included cooking time and family dinners with my parents. It’s nice to not dread Sundays anymore, and I’m so thankful for that!

I am thankful that I truly enjoy cooking. I guess I should also say that I am thankful that I come from a family that likes to cook! Plus, Josh comes from a family that likes to cook. I love looking at cookbooks and cooking blogs. Most importantly, I love cooking for my family. It makes me so happy when Lexi and Lyla enjoy my cooking! I am SO thankful that Lexi and Lyla are healthy. (KNOCKING ON SOME MAJOR WOOD RIGHT NOW). Lexi and Lyla have only been to their doctor for their scheduled well-baby visits. We spent no time in the NICU. We came home 2 days after a c-section. We have HEALTHY little girls. There are days that I forget how blessed we are for our health. But then I visit a blog that I like to go to every now and then, and I get smacked in the face with how lucky we are. This poor mama is constantly battling illnesses with her little girls. I just can NOT imagine how hopeless she must feel at times. I can’t help but include this family, a family I don’t know, nor will I ever know, in my prayers sometimes. And then I remember to pray for the continued health of my family. I am so thankful for my family’s good health.

I am so thankful for these 3 girls. Brooke, Deena, and Jill have been in my life for as long as I can remember. I may not get to talk to them daily, weekly, or even monthly sometimes, but when we are able to catch up, it’s like no time has passed. For that, I am so thankful. We have been there for each other through ups and downs and I hope it will always be that way! Next up, Deena’s wedding, with some super hot bridesmaids (if I do say so myself)!

I've mentioned it on facebook before, but I am SUPER thankful for washable crayons. These things are amazing. One day one of my darling little girls decided to color on her nice Pottery Barn chair. Guess what? It washed right out. Color on the table instead of the paper? No problem. I love these things. They provide about 30 minutes of entertainment for my busy girls, and for those with toddlers, you know that is something to be thankful for!

One of my favorite things about fall is the return of Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks. I know I’m not alone on this one. Why they don’t have it year round is beyond me, but it does make the return oh-so special. I would drink one everyday if I could but let’s face it, they aren’t cheap. Therefore, today I am thankful for:

I recently discovered this stuff and it is SO GOOD! So thank you Coffee-Mate for making my expensive habit a little more manageable.

I think I might have mentioned last year that Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love the season, the food, and the sentiment. In honor of all of that, I’m going to TRY to post daily what I’m thankful for.

I’m thankful for sisterly giggles. There’s nothing cuter than catching Lexi and Lyla playing and giggling together. I know they love each other, but every once in a while when they’re fighting over a toy that we have TWO of, I can’t help but wonder if they’ll be the best of friends or the worst of friends. But never fear, 2 minutes later, and I’ll find them scheming together over how to rub peanut butter crackers over the wall and stuff paper into a phone jack (this JUST happened). I love giggles…

Lexi and Lyla love books. They love looking at them and “reading” them in a language that I have yet to translate. Unfortunately, they also love destroying them. Do all kids do this, or just mine? DRESS UP! Lexi and Lyla love dressing up in the craziest ensembles! Josh and I had bought them these cute little princess dresses from Big Lots (by the way Moms, they have awesome deals on diapers). They came with little slippers and headbands. They’re a little bit big but who cares when they look this cute!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve never been able to walk past a mirror without looking in it. I’ll turn my head and look at a mirror and keep walking, but I’ll still be looking at myself. I don’t think I’m vain, I think I just want to know what I look like! Josh is perhaps more infatuated with mirrors than I even am! He loves to dance and sing in the bathroom mirror, sometimes for my benefit, sometimes for his benefit. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that OUR daughter spends long periods of time doing this everyday:

Yes, it’s more like twenty and a half months at this point, but seriously, who expects me to post these monthly birthdays on time any more?! I can’t believe that in four short months, my baby girls will be 2 years old. As much as I look forward to things that we can do as Lexi and Lyla get older, I also get so sad that they aren’t my snuggly little babies anymore. But, I’m so incredibly thankful for each and every day spent with my healthy, beautiful, baby girls. Daddy and I love you both SO much!

About a month ago, Josh’s cousin Kim and her kids came through town for a quick visit. Both Josh and I are only children, so it was very exciting for Lexi and Lyla to get to meet their second (?) cousins, Julie and Abby. Julie and Abby were so sweet with Lexi and Lyla and we had a great time visiting. Hopefully they will come back soon so we can spend more time together!

Utensils Are Fun

So I’ve clearly been lacking on the blog posts lately, please forgive me. My free time has been taken up by exciting things like vampires, werewolves, singing high school students, and peeping toms. Cool, huh? Ok, for those that might not understand…I’ve been reading the Twilight series, watching True Blood, catching up on the first season of Glee, and Big Brother just started back! Anyway, I will put down Eclipse, and catch you all up on all things Lexi and Lyla!

I finally started working on spoons and forks about a month and a half ago with the girls. They really caught on fast and I’m so proud of them! The only problem…they do NOT like it when I take their utensils away at the end of a meal!

Lexi and Lyla had their slightly belated 18 month check up today. The big news of the day is that little miss Lyla has passed her sister in size! Our pediatrician is so pleased with their growth and development. I've been a little worried about their speech, but when we started listing all the things they say for the doctor, I realized they have a lot of words! Plus, their comprehension is great, so Dr. Mitchell, as usual, told me to quit worrying! We are so blessed to have such healthy girls! Here are their stats:

Lexi: 23 lbs 1 oz (25-50%ile)
32 inches (50-75%ile)

Lyla: 23 lbs 5 oz (25-50%ile)
32.5 inches (75%ile)

Bye-Bye Ball Pit

After several months of ball-pit fun, we have decided to retire the old ball pit. Lexi and Lyla helped me fill up four garbage bags full of balls (of course by help, I mean put balls in the bags and then fall on the bags to make the balls come back out). Then Josh and I let the air out of the ball pit (of course by letting the air out, I mean laying on several sections, standing on areas, and squeezing the darn thing for over 3o minutes). I was in the kitchen cutting up cucumbers and strawberries for Lexi and Lyla and they were playing in the living room. They were giggling SO much, so I knew I needed to take a peek at what they were up to. Here's what I found:

That's Lyla who's on top of Lexi in the first video, and she's also trying to pick up Lexi in the second video. While they were both itty-bitty when they were born, Lyla was the smaller one and the one whose growth had slowed considerably which caused their early delivery. I never would have guessed 18 months ago that she would be the ring leader between these two. It's moments like these that make me thankful for the gift of twins.

Playdate Part 2

So like I was saying in the previous post, after the kids were done playing in the spray park we went over to the playground to swing. Lexi and Lyla got a treat by being pushed by their buddies Chase and Julianna. They both laughed and laughed as they were swinging. Lexi kept turning around to look at Chase and you could tell she was loving him! Chase is such a good big brother and Kristen is so lucky to have such a good helper! JuJu also did a great job helping to push the girls. We were laughing because JuJu is so petite and she was probably pushing a kid that weighs just about as much as she does! Thanks again for a fun day!

Play Date!

Today we had a playdate with my friend Kristen, and her three awesome kids: Chase, Julianna, and Parker. We went to one of the spray parks near both of our houses and let the kids play for a little while. First, the kids had to do a little snack sharing. We brought our snack cups and Kristen brought some delicious snacks. Lexi liked Kristen's snacks so much that she was chewing on the bag! JuJu enjoyed Lexi and Lyla's snack cups too. Lexi and Lyla did really well until they decided that they wanted Parker to play. I don't think they understood that a little baby couldn't play with them yet! We then went over to the playground and Lexi and Lyla got to swing, thanks to help from Chase and JuJu. It was so cute! Thanks for a fun playdate Lewis Family! We can't wait to do it again!

Playing Outside

We've been playing outside a lot lately and we are loving it!! Lyla is so curious about everything around her. She's such a gatherer and loves to collect things such as leaves and pieces of mulch (eww!). Lexi is more conservative and took a little while to warm up to walking in the grass. She still prefers to be by my side and will sit beside me while Lyla wanders. Does anyone have any good suggestions for fun outdoors toys? I want to get a water table but I'll take any ideas!

Mother's Day

I know, I'm almost 2 weeks late on this post, but it doesn't mean Mother's Day didn't happen! My main goal for Mother's Day this year was to get my Mother and Josh's Mother something other than Coldwater Creek giftcards. Everything else for the day didn't really matter to me, as long as I got to spend time with my sweet little lovebugs. I ended up finding the most adorable personalized picture frames for Bubbie and Grandma, and I spent the whole night before Mother's Day putting them together. I have to say, the end result was pretty awesome:

How cute are those?! After I put them together, Josh said, "You want to keep them don't you?". Of course I did! But I was much happier giving them to our Mothers, who I think liked them almost as much as I did!

The morning of Mother's Day Lexi and Lyla woke me up with their normal jibber-jabbering. But when I went into their room there was a big surprise in the middle of the room for me: A huge Coach gift bag. The girls were obviously excited to give me my gift so I guess they put it in their room after they went to bed ;) Inside was a beautiful new Coach bag, big enough to double as a diaper bag! I love it.

We also had a cookout later on in the day with my parents and Josh's parent and Honey. The food was all delicious and we had a great time. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures on that day! Who doesn't take pictures on Mother's Day??? All in all, it was a great day and I'm so thankful to have 2 wonderful Mothers to celebrate and 2 wonderful daughters who make me a Mama too.

Sisterly Love

"Are they best friends?". I get this question a lot. From friends. From strangers we meet while running errands. From patients. From family. Truthfully, some days I question whether they even like each other one bit, but that's only when they're fighting for Mama or Daddy's attention. If it's "alone time", and I'm in the room next door while they're playing, they play together beautifully (for the most part). I've witnessed Lexi grabbing both sippy cups and bringing one to Lyla. I've seen Lexi try to calm a frustrated Lyla by bringing her sunglasses. I've seen Lyla return a toy that Lexi clearly wanted. But here is photographic evidence that they really do love each other. These pictures were taken on 2 different mornings while the girls were waking up and watching a little Sprout.

There's a puddle on the floor next to me. Oh wait, that's just my heart melting. They DO love each other! :)

Who Replaced My Babies With Big Girls?!

I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago and when I finally uploaded them from the camera, I was awestruck by how BIG Lexi and Lyla look. Obviously I know that they are growing. That's what they're supposed to do after all. But, in these pictures they look like LITTLE GIRLS, not babies. Imagine how old they'd look if they had hair!!! I have to say, as much as I long for hair to put bows in, I'm savoring those sweet bald heads that keep my babies looking like babies :)

Learning To Share

Let's be honest...there's not a lot of sharing going on lately. It doesn't matter that we have 2 of everything (for the most part), whatever one has the other one wants. Without pointing fingers, I would say that one sister tends to be more "grabby" than the other (ahem, Lyla). But the other sister does have her moments, like this afternoon as I was changing them after their nap. I was changing Lyla's diaper and she was still very sleepy, clinging to her paci and lovie. Lexi was hanging out in the crib and decided to throw everything out of the crib, including HER paci and lovie. Well, once she realized what she had done she got upset, and of course, decided the best solution to her problem was to come snatch Lyla's paci and lovie right out of her mouth and hand, respectively. Sigh. That's why incidents like the ones below are just way too sweet.

Lexi loves to play with these old hats. She decided to share with her sister and even put the hat on Lyla's head for her.

Post-Nap Cuteness

I love how cuddly Lexi and Lyla are when they first get up from a nap. They are such good nappers that we normally have to wake them up! Sometimes they aren't too happy about that, but those are the days when I get some extra cuddle time with my 2 favorite sweeties. I love when they nuzzle their little faces into my shoulder or chest and I just know they feel safe there. In those moments, there is no place I would rather be.

Last year, when I turned 30, I realized that I felt no need to be sensitive about my age because I felt so happy with my life. I had 2 beautiful, healthy, baby girls, a loving husband, and 2 sets of wonderfully supportive parents. I'm happy to report that life is still amazing this year and I had another great birthday! Thank you for everyone that made my day special!

Climb And Slide

About a month ago, Josh and I got the girls a "big girl" toy. I guess it's not so much a toy, but a thing that they can use to give Mama a heart attack. It's the......Climb And Slide. At first it kind of just frustrated Lexi and Lyla, but now they are really able to climb on it and they seem to enjoy it more. We're still working on the sliding part, but that's improving also. I still get nervous when they're both standing on it, or when they're both climbing on it from either end, but I'm getting better too!

Lexi and Lyla aren't huge doll lovers, they mostly like playing with things they can stack or things they can climb all over (or things they can stick in their mouths). But, every once in a while I'll find them playing with their dolls, and it is oh-so-cute. I'll tell them to "kiss the baby" and they will both shower the baby dolls with slobbery kisses. I can even get my paci-loving daughter, Lexi, to share her paci with the baby!

Casey's Babies

Our first baby, Casey the Jack Russell Terrier, has some little girls that love her to pieces. Casey is so patient and gentle with Lexi and Lyla. She lets them pet her, play with her feet, and grab her tail, and never once has she gotten snappy with them. She might give us looks like she wants to be rescued sometimes, but I think she secretly enjoys the attention they give her. When I was pregnant, one of my biggest concerns was how Casey and Piper would adapt to the babies. I'm so happy that Casey and Piper love their babies and that Lexi and Lyla love their doggies.

Easter Cards and Family

Josh's Aunt Patty and Cousin Patrick are in town this week for Easter and they all came over on Sunday to eat lunch. The girls got a bunch of fun stuff but wouldn't you know, the cards were the coolest things ever! They walked around with the cards and envelopes for about an hour. They would talk about the cards and point to the pictures like they were telling us a whole story about them! Who knew paper could be so much fun!?

April Fun Day!

The other day I took the girls on a walk to a playground near our house. I think it was more suited for kids a little bit older than Lexi and Lyla but they still had a great time. How Much Is That Baby In The Window?

Lexi and Lyla love to hang out and play by the window sill in their playroom. I can only imagine what it must look like to people as they drive by. I definitely have seen cars slow down as they pass our house, and I figure they must be admiring my lovely daughters in the window. I know Lexi likes to admire her reflection in the window:

15 Month Stats (More Like 16 Month)

Lexi and Lyla had their 15 month appointment today, even though they will be 16 months on Saturday. Here are their stats:

Lexi
Height: 31 inches
Weight: 21 lbs 14 oz
Head: 46.5 cm

Lyla
Height: 31 inches
Weight: 21 lbs 12 oz
Head: 47 cm

I think they were in the 75th percentile for height, 50th percentile for weight, and 75th percentile for head circumference. This was the first time in their lives that their weights were that close! And we were shocked that Lyla's head was slightly bigger! I know I say it everytime, but I still can't believe how well our little 4 lb babies have grown! Our pediatrician was extremely pleased with their growth and development. We did discuss their increasingly picky appetites. She said that they should get 30 minutes at each meal and if they don't eat what has been given to them in that time frame, then move on. No more throwing the refrigerator and pantry at them to find what they want. If they don't want what WE have decided to give them, then they can try again at the next meal. It will be hard for me, but I do know that they will not starve themselves.

They got 2 shots each and neither one of them acted like they felt the first one, but when that MMR was given they both cried :( I knew that one would hurt. They bounced back quickly though! We go back in 3 months and then we don't have to go back until they are TWO! Wow, time sure does fly.

Our BFF's Birthday Party!

This past Saturday we got to help celebrate one of our best friend's SECOND birthday! Little Miss Eva Grace is the daughter of one of my old co-workers and very good friends, Jennifer. She had a birthday party at Build-A-Bear, and boy was it fun! All the kiddos first got to pick out their bears. Then, they each got a heart to kiss and put inside of their bears. Lexi got really carried away in kissing her heart, so it was a little wet. Next, the bears got stuffed with the stuffing and given a "bath". Then, they got to pick out outfits for their bears. Josh and I happened to see some cute Tennessee outfits so we had to buy those for our bears, named Bruce and Wayne (for the UT basketball coach and our favorite player, not Batman). They came out so cute! We ended the party with cupcakes and juice boxes in the food court! We had a great time and we are so glad that Eva invited us! We love you Eva Grace and wish you many more happy birthdays!

Silly Sisters

Josh and I have been giving Lexi and Lyla quite a bit of "alone" time lately. "Alone" time means that they play in their playroom without us (even though we're just in the next room). We find that when we aren't in there with them, they play together A LOT more. There is nothing cuter than listening to them playing, chatting, and giggling together. One morning I tried to stealthily snap a couple pictures and video of them playing in their tent together. The pictures did not come out as good as I had hoped, but I love in the video when I get busted by Lexi. Giggle on silly sisters, giggle on.

On March 3rd, Lexi and Lyla celebrated their 15 month birthday! I'm only about a month behind on this one, mainly because I was never able to capture a good picture of both of them! Oh, who am I kidding...Lexi and Lyla haven't been for their 15 month appointment yet either! Mama is just trying to catch up on life right about now. These past 15+ months with Lexi and Lyla have been amazing and every stage of their lives just keeps getting better and better. They are both constantly on the move and do not like to be pinned down for long. This makes stroller rides and high chairs interesting, although they seem to enjoy car rides. They are definitely vocal, although making out what they are saying is still difficult. One day we'll think they're saying a specific word, and then the next day they won't repeat it! They definitely understand certain things that we say, such as "Lexi, go get your paci and lovie" or "Lyla, go get your cup." They give real kisses and will blow kisses every once in a while. All in all, they are cuddly and adorable and we love them more than we ever thought we could!

Blogging slump

Clearly, I have not been blogging as much as I'd like to. Yes, we've been busy, but I still do have time for a quick post here and there. I just feel like I haven't had much to say! Lexi and Lyla are doing great and are becoming little people right before our eyes. They are such sweethearts and we are having so much fun with them. I think part of the cause of my blogging slump is due to the fact that I haven't been able to get many decent pictures of them! I have contacted a friend of mine about taking some professional pictures so hopefully she can get them to sit still! She just took pictures of my friend's precious twin boys who are a few months older than Lexi and Lyla and they turned out amazing. I am currently 10 days overdue on a 15 month post so look for that soon!

In other news, I am moving to a Kroger Pharmacy closer to home and I will be the pharmacy manager! My first day will be on Tuesday. I'm very excited, but also sad to leave my friends and patients at my old pharmacy. If you live nearby and need a good pharmacist, I will be happy to take care of you!

Oh well, I guess learning how to walk changes things! Lexi and Lyla are magnificent 14 month old little girls and amaze us every day. Mama and Daddy love you little ladies so much and hope you will always stay as happy as you are now!

Lexi and Lyla's walking skills seem to be improving daily. It seems like just as I was blogging about Lyla not walking while holding onto our finger, she all of a sudden starts! That's my little girl...prove me wrong! We find them walking more and more instead of crawling. It's crazy how these little girls pick things up!
